Qualifications

Robert A. Hamilton has more than 20 years of experience as a full-time biological consultant in southern California. He is a well-rounded naturalist and recognized authority on the status, distribution, and identification of birds in California and Baja California. Among his publications are two standard references describing aspects of the state's avi­fauna: The Birds of Orange County: Status & Distribution and Rare Birds of California.
